Have you heard of 2017 Jaguar XE? If you haven’t heard about it so far then you are not a true car lover. This vehicle was officially unveiled in September 2014 and Jaguar published all relevant information since then. XE is a British response to BMW 3-series. It may not be as luxurious as 3-series, but you need to scratch the surface to reveal its true beauty. Engine lineup consists out of few different units which deliver the goods. However, you may find different info about engine specifications. Please be aware that this is not a mistake, but there are different specs for different markets. Jaguar opted for such option because US customers usually have different demands than customers in Europe.

The rest of the world, including Europe, is going to have a slightly different lineup. Five different engines are part of the lineup. A 2.0-liter Diesel is coming in two variants. It can produce either 160 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque or 177 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. The difference is quite subtle. A 2.0-liter Petrol is a bit more powerful, delivering either 197 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque, or 237 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Eventually, a 3.0-liter petrol completes the lineup of 2017 Jaguar XE with 335 horsepower. The last one has a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) while the acceleration stands at 4.9 seconds.
