It may not be as luxurious as 3-series, but you need to scratch the surface to reveal its true beauty. Engine lineup consists out of few different units which deliver the goods. However, you may find different info about engine specifications. Please be aware that this is not a mistake, but there are different specs for different markets. Jaguar opted for such option because US customers usually have different demands than customers in Europe.
2017 Jaguar XE Trims
New XE comes in five different trim levels: Jaguar XE Pure, Jaguar XE R-Sport, Jaguar XE S, Jaguar XE Prestige and Jaguar XE Portfolio. All these trims should have exactly the same engine and similar performance. They differ in terms of design, especially interior. These trims come in a variety of colors and are wrapped in either cloth or leather, depending on the trim.

Braking has been improved and there’s even a possibility of automatic braking. In addition, lane assist system helps the car to keep its path on the road. Also, there are blind post monitoring system, cruise control, and closing vehicle sensing.
2017 Jaguar XE is a sports sedan similar to 3-series. The front grille is huge while the headlights are quite narrow. Bumpers and taillights take after XF which give XE sports appearance. It’s based on a new platform that uses 75% of lightweight materials, mostly 6000-series aluminum. Not just it is lighter, but it’s also much stiffer than its predecessor. Focus was on using recyclable materials and Jaguar hopes to expand this trend to all future vehicles. Cabin differs from trim to trim but generally, comes in either leather or cloth. The whole interior is luxurious and resembles C-Class.
